It is Chick-fil-A’s pleasure to help you pay for your higher education! Like many retailers and fast-food providers, Chick-fil-A offers students scholarships through their Community Scholars Program.
Chick-fil-A considers this program an investment into future leaders. In addition to a scholarship, recipients benefit from a year-long engagement that includes mentoring and leadership development.
Each year, Chick-fil-A awards 12 recipients a $25,000 scholarship.
You must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, demonstrate financial need, and be involved in community service activities to be eligible for this award. Additionally, you must be recommended by a teacher, coach, community leader, or mentor.
To apply, you must submit an application, a current transcript, a copy of your parents’ first two pages of their IRS 1040 income tax form or T-1 Canadian income tax return, and at least one online recommendation.
All applicants must meet the following requirements:
• Currently reside in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada
• Be a current high school senior/student in their final year of upper or higher secondary school, college/university undergraduate (including CEGEP students) or graduate student or planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate or graduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university (or equivalent), or full-time study at a vocational-technical school or CEGEP institution for the upcoming academic year
• Be involved in community service, an extracurricular activity, and/or leadership role in the 12 months prior to applying.
• Have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA on a scale of 4.0
• Be willing to participate in Chick-fil-A’s Community Scholars mentorship program for one year
Recipients will be selected based on their academics; activities, awards, and honors; community service/volunteering; online recommendation; and financial need.
